Learn More About Awareness During Brain Tumor Action Week

Today, the North American Brain Tumor Coalition is meeting with Senators and Representatives in Washington D.C. to increase funding for brain tumor research as well as how to increase brain tumor awareness. Thousands of people in the USA are living with a brain tumor diagnosis and this organization and others work to spread awareness about this issue.

It’s Melanoma Monday – Time to Check Those Moles!

The first Monday in May is dedicated to the detection and prevention of Melanoma, and has been coined by the American Academy of Dermatology as Melanoma Monday.  It’s a day to help all of us to become more aware of this very serious and deadliest form of skin cancer and how to spread the word to others.
